The Finish Line

Last time I checked in I had 78 total solo driving miles and 78 total carpool miles for a total of 158 driving miles.

On the road to car-free victory!

This weekend I drove down with my family to Los Angeles for father's day, so thankfully I get two car-free breaks, because that would have shattered my mileage goal - 375 miles in each direction!

San Jose Bike Party TONIGHT!

Mileage Update: 3 by solo driving, 65 by carpool, 150 by transit, 170 by biking & walking!

Ok, so it may seem pretty unbelievable that I’ve biked & walked 170 miles over the course of 9 days, but it’s true!

4 days: 0 miles solo driving, 20 miles by bus, 35 miles carpooling, 40 miles by bike!

Have not used my car in 4 days! Just about to leave my gig in Cupertino to meet up with another Car-Free Challenger in Sunnyvale... who also happens to be the love of my life!

Day One: Check!

I started off my day this morning by carpooling with my brother to the gym, where we met up with my buddy Kenny. After a great workout, my brother dropped me off at Bicycle Express to pick up my bicycle which I had dropped off for a tune-up a few days earlier. From there, my brother continued his journey to drop off his car at the mechanic, while I pedaled off to meet up with a couple of friends for lunch at Mexico Bakery in Downtown San Jose... mmmmmmh.....
