Echa Schneider

I haven't owned a car since I moved to Oakland eight years ago. I don't even have a driver's license anymore. Mostly I walk and take the bus. But I am also a regular customer of the local taxi company, and of course, I do get rides with friends from time to time. I've set a goal of zero miles for the week. Going completely without a car would be pretty easy for me some weeks, but this week isn't one of them, as I have a number of committments in somewhat out of the way locations. I'm looking forward to the challenge!
